New building Highschool 2019/2021

  • New building of ca. 9.500m2
  • Costs ca. € 36 million

Leiden University of Applied Sciences is still going through a period of growth. In order to anticipate the future and to be able to give up rented spaces, an expansion / new construction of approximately 9,500m2 GLA is planned.
Based on an initiative document, the plan will be further elaborated under the supervision of ID. The contractors for the design phase as well as the realization are selected through an European tender. The advisors of the design team will elaborate the design up to and including the final drawings. The technical design will be elaborated by the contractor up to the specifications. He may also make an offer and realize the project.
The biggest challenge is to keep the plan within budget.

Overall project management of the design phase including the Program of Requirements, design management, European tendering for design and realization, planning and budgeting.
